KATRINA'S MESSAGE
Focusing on kitchen table issues is and should be the focus. This legislative session, the GOP showed us who they really are when they championed bills to reduce SNAP benefits, take away workers’ lunch breaks, roll back child labor laws, push statutory changes that would send public dollars to unaccountable private schools, and open the door for hyperscale data centers to destroy prime farmland in KY.
As a Democrat, but more importantly as a working mom, wife, educator, and public servant, my goal is to help build a better, brighter future for ALL Kentuckians, while supporting unions, farmers, working families, individuals, and children in every corner of our Commonwealth.
